We are all looking for that flawless skin we see in the magazines. That saids alot about the society we live in. Well unfortunately, the society we live in teaches young teens that looks are more important than your self worth in who you are. Then you look at magazines again and tv and you see that beautiful flawless skin over and over again. Wow, that does put the icing on the cake. Take teen acne control.
Teens, you are going to have to learn and even with acne that you are beautiful. However, I know that this is just not that simple.
Diet, a nervous system disorder or hormonal imbalance can contribute to your acne.
The hormonal changes in your teen years are partially responsible for your acne. The hormones I am talking about are called androgens. In your teen years, your body starts producing this hormone. Usually teen males produce more of this androgen hormone. This is why male teen acne is more severe. You do not have to accept this acne as a way of life. You can fight it because it is treatable. Yes I know teenage acne is a curse for some of you. There are solutions to teen acne control.
A very good diet is very important. You should really try to make changes here. Salty snacks, fried foods, sugary products, trans fatty acids, margarine, shortening, and dairy products, watch it! Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, mangoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, apricots, etc. Invest in a good juicer so you can drink your fruits and vegetables sometimes. You will see a change. Vegetables will get your body going in eliminating toxins from your system. If you must have sweets, then start baking your own cookies and cakes. There are ways to eliminate sugar. You can bake with applesauce. Yes you can. Changing your diet will be a boost in your quest to teen acne control.
You have to be the one who is going to have to help yourself first. You can not eat what you have been eating before if you want teen acne control. If you want to help in fighting this teenage acne, then your diet must come first.
Another contributor to acne is you will find some teens have a vitamin deficiency. Look into a multi vitamin that has vitamin c, vitamin a, vitamin e, chromium and beta-carotene. Take this multivitamin everyday.
Keep your face rinsed twice a day with a gentle cleanser or soap. Neutrogena is a great soap. There are three soaps available. Dry, normal(combination/sensitive skin), and oily. I use the one for oily skin with great results all of the time. It keeps my oily skin under control and very clear. Witch hazel is a good astringent to use. Then apply a non oily moisturizer always. This will help in the start to heal the outside of your skin while your new diet will be working on the inside.
